This stunning knife features a beautiful Camel Bone handle with Damascus Steel bolsters and intricate file work. The overall length of the knife is 7.3 inches, with a blade length of 3.2 inches and handle length of 4.1 inches. The Rain Drop pattern Damascus steel blade is made from a combination of 1095 and 15N20 alloy steels, hand-forged to create a beautiful pattern. The blade has a hardness of HRC 58-60 and has been hand-sharpened to a sharp edge. Please note that the color shade of the Bone handle may vary due to its individuality. Each knife comes with a handmade durable leather sheath.

How Our Damascus Steel is Made: All our Damascus steel is genuine and not just an acid etch. It is a mixture of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon steels. The two steels are heated together, folded over and over to create 396 layers. The blade is then burned in acid, which turns the nickel a satin color and the high carbon a blackish gray, exposing the layers to reveal the Damascus pattern. After manufacturing, the handles are polished to remove the acid burned layer, while the blade edge is sharpened to a satin finish. Re-burning the tang and edge of the blade will once again reveal the layers of the two steels.
